Onze missie

Dansers met elkaar en de Tilburgse culturele scene verbinden,
om zo groei, inspiratie en maatschappelijke impact te stimuleren.

Tilburg Dance Platform (TDP) vormt het kloppend hart van de street- en clubdancecultuur in Tilburg. We ondersteunen, verbinden en inspireren dansers van elk niveau door middel van talentontwikkeling, vernieuwende projecten en evenementen, gedreven door de hiphopwaarden: Peace, Love, Unity, and Having Fun. Als kenniscentrum en productiehuis creëren we een toegankelijke, veilige plek waar iedereen zichzelf kan uiten en kan groeien. Ons doel is om de lokale danscommunity naar een hoger niveau te tillen en te professionaliseren.

Productiehuis

We initiëren, coproduceren en ondersteunen projecten van community leaders uit de Tilburgse street- en clubdancecultuur, waarmee we talent stimuleren en lokale kansen vergroten.

Netwerkorganisatie


We bouwen aan een sterke community door dansers te verbinden met instellingen en stakeholders, waardoor we het culturele en maatschappelijke potentieel van Tilburg versterken.

Kenniscentrum


We fungeren als een kenniscentrum voor street- en clubdancestijlen en bieden middelen en expertise aan dansers, partners en beleidsmakers.

Wat doen we?

We organiseren open jams, sociale bijeenkomsten en evenementen die mensen samenbrengen, onderlinge banden versterken en creativiteit aanmoedigen.

Van battles tot theateravonden: we bieden dansers een podium om hun skills te laten zien, nieuwe dingen uit te proberen en artistiek te groeien.

Met workshops, begeleiding en ondernemersondersteuning geven we dansers de tools die ze nodig hebben om te slagen, zowel op als naast het podium.

We zetten ons onvermoeibaar in om ervoor te zorgen dat street- en clubdancecultuur wordt gezien en gewaardeerd als een essentieel onderdeel van het culturele landschap in Tilburg, Brabant en daarbuiten.
